Aussie Singer Delta Goodrem Slammed By Fans For Her Melbourne Cup Performance

Delta gave it her all but some hard-to-please fans weren't having a bar of it.

Delta Goodrem's performance at the Melbourne Cup didn't go down well with a few racegoers who have wasted no time in slating her on social media.

The Australian pop sensation was parachuted in (no, not literally) to Flemington to provide some pre-race entertainment for the punters in attendance.

But despite giving it her all up on the stage, some fans weren't too impressed.

Delta, donning a bright orange silk gown with huge shoulder pads and some sort of superhero cape, belted out a number of her hit classics including Keep Climbing.

At the time, the crowd at Flemington appeared to be loving it.

But it didn't take long for some to go swinging into her on social media.

But while most people rinsed her for the overall performance, others took aim at Delta for her attire - more specifically, the outfit choices of her back-up dancers.

Some people even had the audacity to compare them to Jetstar flight attendants.

Elsewhere, though, others heaped praise on the Victoria Racing Club ambassador.
