A 3D simulation has shown what would happen if Usain Bolt took on a horse and a cheetah over 100 metres while running world record pace.
Bolt has been the fastest human on the planet for 17 years, having ran a time of 9.69 in the men's 100m final at Beijing 2008 to become the new world record holder.
A year later, at the 2009 World Championships, he set a new record of 9.58 in the 100m, and ran 19.19 in the 200m to hold that particular record as well.
No other sprinter has come close to beating that time - and that has prompted YouTubers to experiment by pitting Bolt up against various animals.

If you're a fan of this particular genre, you might already have seen Usain Bolt versus the world's fastest dog, Usain Bolt versus a pig and Usain Bolt versus a greyhound.
In the latest simulation, a host of new challengers have stepped forward - headed by a horse and a cheetah.
The simulation is courtesy of YouTube channel Global Data, who have added in a kangaroo and the returning greyhound for good measure.

An apparent false start from the horse is ignored as it gets away well, followed by the cheetah, the greyhound and the kangaroo.
It takes about five metres for the cheetah and the greyhound to power comfortably clear of the rest, with the cheetah continuing to accelerate before winning by a significant margin.
In second place is the greyhound, with the horse gaining ground over the 100 metres to finish a close third.
Then it's Bolt in fourth, with the kangaroo bringing up the rear in fifth place.
The cheetah can run the 100 metres in just five seconds - having presumably picked up an injury since the last simulation, when it ran 4.70.

Meanwhile, the greyhound is able to cover the distance in 5.80 seconds, and the horse in 6.5 seconds.
The kangaroo clocks in at 11 seconds, making it the slowest of the four animals to take part.
