
Two-time Olympic 100m medalist Fred Kerley has reportedly been arrested in Miami.
As reported by the BBC, Kerley, 29, was arrested in Miami for allegedly punching his ex-girlfriend and fellow athlete Alaysha Johnson.
It has been claimed that Kerley punched Johnson in the face during an altercation that took place at a hotel in Dania Beach on Thursday.
Kerley was scheduled to take part in the second Grand Slam Track meeting, which started on Friday.

The sprinter was originally pencilled in to compete in the 100m on Saturday and 200m on Sunday in Miami, having raced in the first Grand Slam Track meet in Kingston, Jamaica, last month.
However, the 29-year-old Team USA star will no longer partake in the event due to his arrest.
A statement from Grand Slam Track read: "Fred Kerley was arrested last night. The matter is under active investigation.
"Fred will not compete this weekend. We have no further comment at this time."

Johnson, 28, who is an Olympic hurdler, was also scheduled to take part in Grand Slam Track.
According to the report, Kerley had been charged with one count of 'battery-touch or strike', as per the arrest report from the Broward County Sheriff's Office.

American media outlet, CBS, claimed that Kerley made an appearance in court on Friday and posted a $1000 bond before leaving jail.

Kerley is a two-time Olympic medalist in the 100m event, having won silver in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo before winning bronze in last summer's Olympics in Paris.
The Texas-born athlete also has six World Championship medals to his name, most notably the 100m gold he won in the 2022 edition, which was held in Oregon.
Kerley also won world gold in 2019 and 2023 as he was a part of the 4x400m and 4x100m quartets.
