Usain Bolt's running records can rest easy, with their biggest threat now out of contention: himself. That is, until a new competitor arises, and Australia's Gout Gout is at the top of the tree, breaking new sprinting records.
The 18-year-old sensation has already set the athletics world alight with his phenomenal speed.
Having attracted attention from Bolt, who confessed his 'immense talent' could pose a threat to his records, Gout Gout is the hottest prospect on the track.
The teenager is already eyeing being the fastest man on the planet, and has already become the fastest person ever, under the age of 20, in both the 100m and 200m disciplines.

Now, he's silenced the doubters who claimed that his 200m record was 'fake' as he's set another world record.
Gout Gout breaks 'world record' in new sprinting category
Competing at the Golden Spike meet, Gout Gout went toe-to-toe with US star Noah Lyles (the current fastest man alive), in a rarely-contested 150m sprint.
The discipline is often overlooked for the 100m and 200m sprints that feature in the Olympics, but has begun to be popularised.
At the sprint in Czechia, Gout Gout showed the world exactly what he has to offer, and set another world record by becoming the fastest under 20 in this race, too.
The Aussie set a time of 14.96, which was only 0.04 seconds behind the actual world record before the race began.
Unfortunately, the time isn't recognised as a 'world record' because the 150m race doesn’t feature at the Olympics or major athletics championships.
Still, the time is out there for everyone to see, and will be a bar set within the athletics world, despite the lack of official paperwork.
Gout Gout actually finished third in the race, with less than 0.3 seconds separating him from race leader Noah Lyles, who set a record of his own.

Noah Lyles also sets new 150m record, but can't catch Bolt
Gout Gout might have set the World Record for the under 20s category, but as far as 150m races are concerned, US icon Lyles has proven to be the quickest ever.
Lyles ran a 14.67 in the same race as Gout Gout to break the previous 'world record' of 14.92, set earlier this year by Kishane Thompson.

However, even this record is called into contention.
With the 150m race being new and the aforementioned issue of being an unofficial race, it doesn't go down in the record books.
And, technically, it isn't the quickest time a human has ever recorded 150m from a standing start, as, typically, Usain Bolt accidentally set the bar in his famous 200m win at the 2009 World Championships.
Bolt ran 150m in 14.44 seconds before setting the 200m record at 19.19 seconds, beating what Lyles managed, albeit under different circumstances.
