Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the agent of Argentine Paulo Dybala ahead of a possible free transfer this summer.

The 28 year old is a free agent after his contract expired with Juventus this summer.

After 7 years in Turin, Dybala has left the Italian giants having scored 115 goals in 293 games.

The striker is now available for a free transfer and reportedly has suitors from across Europe’s top leagues.

These include both sides in Milan.

However, according to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Arsenal have made contact with the Argentine over a possible move this summer.

However, they are not the only English giant to be interested.

According to the same publication, they will have to battle against Manchester United to get their man.

Arsenal are also currently believed to be battling it out against the Red Devils to sign Ajax defender and fellow Argentine Lisandro Martinez.

So there may be some way to go for Arsenal to secure their man.

It is unclear where Dybala would line up, after Arsenal announced the signing of Gabriel Jesus to be their starting number nine.

However the Argentine would certainly add some depth to that front line.

The 28 year old would provide Arsenal with a strong goal scoring and creative presence.

Last season Dybala scored 10 goals and got 5 assists in 29 games in Serie A.

He is also consistent, reaching 15 goals and assists 5 times in the last 8 seasons.

It is believed that Inter Milan are currently in pole position to sign Dybala.

They have recently secured the signing of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea but it is thought they want Dybala to play alongside him.

However, possible financial complications with Inter Milan’s wage bill could slow a deal and allow Arsenal to grab a free transfer if they were to move quickly.
