Arsenal New Away Kit Release Date Revealed

Arsenal New Away Kit Release Date Revealed

Arsenal's away kit release date has been reportedly released.

Arsenal are set to launch their new away kit in two weeks time during their pre-season tour of the US.

The kit will first be worn against Orlando City on Wednesday July 20th and if social media is anything to go by, it should fly off the shelves.

It is the first time in the club’s history that a kit will feature the striking combination of black and gold.

Two colours which have a classy and stylish look when used together.

The new shirt will also feature bold “AFC” lettering behind the sponsors and logo.

Fans may recognise the font used from the “Arsenal” display above the box office at the stadium.

Significantly, this is the second away strip in succession that will make use of the classic ‘cannon only’ badge.

The logo, a nod to the 1971 double winning season, was used on the 21/22 yellow alternate shirt and went down very well with fans and it is likely that it will again this year.

There is also news regarding the third kit that will be used in the upcoming season.

Another first for the Gunners, this strip will be pink, which has never been used by the club before.

The pale pink will be contrasted with black Adidas stripes and a teal outline around the neck.

The third kit is due to be released at the end of month, during the Emirates Cup.

The competition will be held in North London and starts on the 30th July, where the kit should be debuted for the first time.

With both the away and third kits straying away from the usual colours used by Arsenal, it will be interesting to see how popular the shirts are with supporters.

However, the overall reception of both seem to be very positive so far.

After some strong signings by Mikel Arteta and with two outstanding new kits to be released very soon.

It has been a very exciting couple of weeks for the Gunners.

Now the question will be whether the likes of new No.9 Gabriel Jesus can perform in the red and white, black and gold, and pink and blue of Arsenal.
