Chelsea 'One Of Only Three Clubs' That Could Pursue Neymar This Summer

Chelsea are one of only three clubs that could sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar this summer, according to reports.
This comes following reports that the 30-year-old is considering his future in France.
He is currently open to departing PSG this summer following reports that sporting director Luis Campos is looking to move him on in the summer.
The owners in Paris are also in agreement over his departure, believing that he should leave this summer.
Neymar had expressed multiple times that he needs to ‘feel loved’ at the club in order for performances to arrive but now he looks set for an exit.

Scoring 13 goals and assisting eight times in 28 matches last season, Neymar impressed when fit.
However, in recent seasons he has struggled to steer clear of injuries.
The Parisiens crashed out of the Champions League in the round of 16 against Real Madrid, with Neymar not lifting the trophy since his departure from Barcelona.
Now, as reported by RMC Sport, Chelsea are one of the only teams that Neymar could sign for this summer.
The French outlet states that only Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have the ‘heavy financial fire-power needed’ to make a deal happen this summer.
Chelsea are the only team listed who boast Champions League football, with Neymar keen to play at the top level before the World Cup at the end of the year.
The winger worked with Thomas Tuchel during their time together at PSG and could look to be reunited this summer.
As quoted by Chelsea’s official website back when Tuchel was appointed at Stamford Bridge, Neymar heaped praise on the German.
He said: “I would give my life on the pitch for Tuchel.”
Perhaps the pair could link up once more this summer as Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital search for their first signing as owners.
They are said to be keen to make an ‘early statement signing’ in the transfer window.
Tuchel’s side are said to be ‘pressing’ for another one of his former players however, in Ousmane Dembele, willing to offer him a contract when his deal at Barcelona expires at the end of the month.
The Blues have also been surprisingly linked with Cristiano Ronaldo after Boehly met with his agent Jorge Mendes in Portugal.
While Neymar to Chelsea has not been heavily linked as of yet, he would fit the profile of superstar which the new owners wish to bring in, while Tuchel shared a strong relationship with the Brazilian before.
This transfer could be one to keep an eye on in the summer.
