Chelsea, Man Utd & Real Madrid set to be 'shocked' by Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham asking price

Borussia Dortmund are set to ask the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid for a record £130 million for their star midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has rapidly developed into one of the most sought-after stars in world football, with multiple clubs hopeful of gaining his signature.

Having moved to the Bundesliga from Birmingham in 2020 at just 17 years of age, he could already be on his way back to England.

Top English clubs and Real Madrid as well have been sniffing around and are set to battle hard next summer to sign him.

At Borussia Dortmund he has been fantastic, with the start of this season being no different.

He has racked up three goals in the league, and has been superb in the Champions League, scoring four goals in just five matches.

Following the departure of Erling Haaland in the summer, he has taken over as the leading man for the German side with his stellar performances.

Despite his young age, the maturity, talent and experience he possesses is quite remarkable and now he could move his career up another gear.

Chelsea are one of the clubs that have been chasing Bellingham, and while they are not the favourites to complete the signing, they are in the race.

Currently in midfield, the Blues tend to use a combination of Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

It can also see Conor Gallagher drop into a deeper role and join the midfield.

In the summer, the west London outfit also added Denis Zakaria on loan from Juventus to strengthen their depth, but he is yet to play a minute for Chelsea.

If Bellingham was to complete a switch to Stamford Bridge, he would become a nailed on starter and likely a player the Blues would build their future around.

However, one thing that may have put Graham Potter’s side off is the reported price tag Dortmund have set for the midfielder.

As per The Independent, they may ask for a record fee of £130 million to get a deal done.

With Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid all after the England international, they will likely be shocked by the valuation.

While Todd Boehly and the ownership team laid down a marker in the summer, spending a club record amount, a figure like this for Bellingham may be too much.
