Three Chelsea Players Leave First-Team As Tino Anjorin Finalises Loan Exit

Three Chelsea players have left the first-team squad as they flew to Orlando, Florida for the second part of their United States.

Three Chelsea players have left the first-team squad as they flew to Orlando, Florida for the second part of their United States.

Thomas Tuchel’s side completed their first week in America after a training camp in Los Angeles, before heading to Las Vegas for their opening match of the FC Series against Club America, where they came out 2-1 victors thanks to Mason Mount’s stunning, curling effort seven minutes from time at the Allegiant Stadium,

Chelsea have now flown to Florida ahead of their matches against Charlotte FC and Arsenal this week before heading back to England.

New arrivals Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly joined the group late in America and have yet to make their first, unofficial, appearance for the Blues.

They are likely to get their first minutes of pre-season against either of or both Charlotte FC and Arsenal.

But it has been revealed by Adam Newson that three players have left the squad.

Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale have left the team and are set to link up with the Development Squad, who have also flown out to America for pre-season.

Meanwhile, Armando Broja flew back to England following an injury and transfer interest from West Ham, as a move to the London Stadium nears this summer.

Adam Newson also reports that Tino Anjorin is finalising a move to leave Chelsea on loan this summer.

Coventry City, Huddersfield Town, Norwich City, QPR are among the English clubs interested, while a couple of European clubs are also keen.

None of the four players featured against Club America in Las Vegas. Broja due to injury, with the other three down to numbers.

Tuchel admitted it left him sad having to leave youngsters out, saying: "Everybody has a chance.

"I was a bit sad today because some youngsters had to be outside (the squad) due to injury or to the fact that we had too many players for two teams of twenty players that we used.

“Some other players deserved to play.

"For example, Harvey Vale had a fantastic tournament with England Under-19s and did very well in training.”

Vale is out of contract next summer and is yet to agree a deal with Chelsea, leaving him at risk of departing on a free transfer.

Gilmour spent the season on loan at Norwich City last year, playing in a relegation side despite featuring in the Champions League-winning team the previous year under Frank Lampard and then Thomas Tuchel.
