Edge's return to action at WrestleMania was met with negative reaction on social media, after his Last Man Standing Match with Randy Orton was criticised for going on too long.

The Rated R Superstar returned from retirement, nine years after injury forced him to quit seemingly for good, as a surprise entrant during the Royal Rumble in January.

His first singles match since he had to give up the WWE title just weeks after WrestleMania 27 was against former tag team partner Orton.

Whilst it had some highlights, especially early on, most fans became bored during the match, with the pair brawling throughout the Performance Centre for far too long.

Edge's return earlier this year was met with huge reaction from the crowd but obviously at WrestleMania there was no crowd to cheer his arrival or react to the brutality of the match.

The former 11 time world champion was victorious against the man who he teamed with to win tag gold as Rated RKO.

It was still an entertaining match, with enough violence to keep it going, but the match definitely could have been shorter for most watching.
