The Undisputed Era members all backed the selection of The Four Horsemen, but Kyle O'Reilly also suggested another legendary WWE faction.

The Undisputed Era members revealed that their dream WWE fantasy showdown would be against the legendary Four Horsemen.

The Horsemen became a powerhouse faction in the 1980s and went through different incarnations in WCW before the Hall of Fame stable disbanded in 1999.

But WWE legends Ric Flair and Arn Anderson remained the only two founding members to appear in each version of the revered stable.

When SPORTbible asked The Undisputed Era to name the team they would want to face the most from any era in wrestling, Adam Cole immediately responded with "Horsemen."

NXT star Bobby Fish added: "Yeah, it's hard for me not to say The Horsemen because I grew up watching [them]."

NXT champion Cole, 30, echoed Fish's sentiments by saying that it is "who I immediately went to also."

Meanwhile, Roderick Strong suggested that choosing The Horsemen was more than just a novelty idea of a "famous faction versus us."

The former North American champ explained: "I think that would be the best match as well. Not just like for the novelty of famous faction versus us, but I think best quality-wise."

Fish, who is one-half of the NXT tag team champions alongside Kyle O'Reilly, named The Four Horsemen members that he would want The Undisputed Era to face.

And the other three members of The Undisputed Era agreed with his selection, which included both Flair and Anderson.

He said: "And The Horsemen incarnation I would say Flair, [Barry] Windham, Tully [Blanchard] and Arn."

Cole, who defends his championship against Tommaso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Portland this month, insisted that the influence of The Horsemen shouldn't be overlooked.

"But as far as influence, too, there's so much of watching them and the way that they wrestled and the way that they performed," he explained.

"And us, in our own way, emulating a lot of the concept of eight-man tags or factions or the way they acted and the way they were."

While The Undisputed Era members all agreed on the choice, O'Reilly also suggested that D-Generation X "would have to be on that list."

And Cole, Fish and Strong collectively backed the idea of The Undisputed Era stepping into the ring with the Hall of Fame faction.

When Strong asked "which four [members] of DX," Cole responded: "I think Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. That version of DX. But X-Pac is out there, though."

And again, the other three members of The Undisputed Era wasted no time in fully agreeing with the choice.

When SPORTbible asked if The Undisputed Era versus DX would be a WrestleMania match, Cole responded: "Yes! Yes! That would be amazing."

Cole also admitted that he didn't foresee The Undisputed Era's immense popularity surge and he now believes that the faction is 'one of the best in WWE.'
