Rhea Ripley has admitted that she could "probably be the happiest girl ever" if she competed against Ronda Rousey inside a WWE ring.
The 23-year-old WWE star shot to the top of the NXT women's division after she dethroned Shayna Baszler last December.
And Ripley, real name Demi Bennett, has opened the door for Rousey to come to the black and yellow brand and challenge for the NXT Women's Championship.

Speaking to SPORTbible in an exclusive interview, Ripley praised the UFC legend and revealed her friends found that the pair were quite similar.
"Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I would love to fight Ronda Rousey," the NXT women's champ said.
"It would be incredible. It's funny because before I made it to NXT, I would watch her on UFC and I'm like, 'This chick's bada*s. She's so cool. Like, I wanna be like her.'
"And then my friends were like, 'Your sort of like her. You guys seem exactly the same, you act the same, you both love Vegeta. Like, you guys are pretty much the same person.'

"So, if I could share the ring with her one day, I would probably be the happiest girl ever [laughs]."
When SPORTbible asked Ripley if she had crossed paths with Rousey backstage, she responded: "Yeah, I have a couple of times. She's great. She's great."

The Australian native, who was the first NXT UK women's champ, opened up more about her backstage conversations with UFC Hall of Famer Rousey.
Ripley revealed that the pair would talk "about weird things," which included certain people 'loving her armpits.'
"It's funny 'cause we just talk about weird things," she said. "Like, apparently, there's a thing going around that people love my armpits and I have no idea why.
"But it's a thing and she brought that up and we had a bit of a giggle about it [laughs]."

Ripley admitted that she brushed aside the unnatural fixation some people might have and laughed it off.
When SPORTbible asked her if she had looked into what people had said about her armpits, Ripley responded: "No, I'm just like, 'If you guys like it, you guys like.'

"I'm just gonna keep doing my pose and pretending like people aren't loving my armpits [laughs]."
Rousey, 33, has been on hiatus from WWE since she lost the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 35 last April.
But the MMA legend, who has confirmed that she is eyeing up a sensational comeback, has opened up about her desire to face Ripley inside a WWE ring.
"Oh my God, Rhea Ripley, she is doing amazing," she told Corey Graves on the After the Bell podcast last month.
"I would love to be in a match with her someday. She matches up with everybody so differently and there are so many things that she could really pull out of people that they can't do with anybody else.
"So, I'm really looking forward to seeing if we ever get that opportunity, but I'd love to get in the ring with her. She's fantastic."
Ripley is scheduled to defend her NXT Women's Championship against Bianca Belair at NXT TakeOver: Portland on Sunday.
