John Cena returned as a bad a guy and commentator Michael Cole's brutal insult was not taken off the Netflix feed.

WWE fans were staggered that a brutal remark from commentator Michael Cole about John Cena was not censored live on Netflix on Monday night.

The latest episode of the flagship Monday night Raw show took place in Brussels at 7pm UK time on Netflix, following up the broadcast in Barcelona on Friday for WWE's second European event streamed live on the platform since their stunning £4 billion switch to the service.

Cena opened the show to deafening boos in his first appearance since turning to the dark side and violently attacking undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Toronto.

The 16-time world champion, who has aligned himself with The Rock and Travis Scott, came out to the same theme music and wore the same jean shorts attire but carried himself in a completely different way.

Instead of saluting to the camera and rushing down to the ring, Cena slowly walked down the entrance ramp to a chorus of jeers before explaining his actions.

As he spoke, Netflix were forced to censor out chants of "F*** you Cena" and "Shut the f*** up" from the raucous crowd in Belgium's capital.

However, after Cena had come face-to-face with Rhodes, Cole, the voice of WWE, made a comment that somehow didn't get cut.

Having rooted for Cena for so long, he called him "an irrational pr***" without any editing from Netflix or WWE, who posted an unedited clip of Cole's rant on social media.

Cole said: "For two decades, I believed in that man, rode alongside that man, bought everything that he was selling, not only me but millions around the world, and he has the audacity to come out tonight and blame the WWE fans?

"John Cena is a 16-time champion because of the fans. John Cena is a massive millionaire and a movie star because of the fans, and what does he do? He comes out and cries and acts like an irrational prick. That is what John Cena is!"

One stunned fan on X said: "Never thought I would live in a world where even Michael Cole is talking s*** about John Cena.

A second added: "MICHAEL COLE CRASHING OUT ON CENA. GET EM COLE."

A third commented: "Hahaha Michael Cole going all in on John Cena! I love it!

Another added: "Michael Cole calls John Cena an "irrational P****." WOW."

A final person wrote: "Michael Cole called Cena a ā€˜p***k’ he is seething."

Cena faces Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas and is vying to becoming a record-breaking 17-time champion.
