WWE fail to censor British swear word during intense Cody Rhodes promo about The Rock and Roman Reigns

Cody Rhodes delivered a much-talked-about promo on Monday Night RAW.

Some American viewers were confused on Monday night when Cody Rhodes used a popular British slang term during his promo about "The Rock" and Roman Reigns.

Rhodes and Seth "Freakin" Rollins will go head to head with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 40 next month.

If Rhodes and Rollins emerge victorious on night one, then The Bloodline will be barred from ringside for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match between Rhodes and Reigns.

But if the Reigns and "The Rock" come out on top, then the main event title match in Philadelphia will become "Bloodline Rules," meaning anything goes for the faction.

Ahead of their much-anticipated match at "The Grandest Stage of Them All", both "The Rock" and Rhodes have been cutting strongly-worded promos on a regular basis.

Both men have been calling each other out with some not-so-subtle language.

And on Monday night's episode of RAW, "The American Nightmare" delivered a segment featuring the expletive "w**k fest".

Speaking to the crowd inside the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Rhodes said: "I have filled this ring up with positive platitudes about Romas Reigns. Clearly I respect the Tribal Chief.

"But make no mistake about it, I am aware that Roman Reigns is the man who screwed me out of the biggest dream I ever had in my life at last year's Wrestlemania.

"So although I respect you Roman Reigns, please understand... I hate your guts. And it's totally fine with me if you hate me too. I mean, it's my fault that you and your cousin can't have this w**k fest at Wrestlemania that you wanted to have."

The Rock, who interrupted Rhodes and stared him down after the promo, would later smash Cody against his own bus, leaving him covered in blood.

He also hurled a ton of trash talk at 'The American Nightmare' and his mother, Michelle – and even wiped some of Cody's blood on his belt featuring the name 'Mama Rhodes'.
