WWE fans have been reacting on social media after Triple H made a huge announcement regarding WrestleMania.

WrestleMania is one of the biggest shows in the sporting calendar and is WWE's flagship event.

This year, WrestleMania 41 was held at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, with John Cena and Cody Rhodes headlining the event.

Next year, WrestleMania 42 will also be held at the same place, with the event set to take place in April 2026.

However, for 2027, WrestleMania is set to move away from the United States of America and Canada for the first time.

Speaking this week, WWE's chief content officer, Triple H, declared that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season.

He said: "We have already announced that the Royal Rumble is headed to Riyadh in January 2026. And today, we announce something that takes this partnership to a new level.

"So, on behalf of His Excellency, on behalf of WWE President Nick Khan, who was the driving force in this deal. I would like to announce, for the first time ever, WrestleMania will be held outside of the United States and Canada."

Triple H continued: "In 2027, we are proud to announce that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season. History will undoubtedly be made again."

Reacting to the news, one fan said: "Just my opinion, but Wrestlemania should NEVER be ANYWHERE outside the U.S."

Another tweeted: "Shocked the first WrestleMania outside of the U.S. didn’t go to London."

A third fan added: "Completely ridiculous that Saudi Arabia would host WrestleMania before Europe."

Someone else wrote: "I am no longer watching WWE. I will be watching UFC from now on."

A fifth commented: "It’s not about the fans anymore."

In a statement, HE Turki Alalshikh said: “WrestleMania is already the biggest date on the wrestling calendar and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE.

"We deeply respect the legacy of WrestleMania and the global prestige it holds among wrestling fans around the world. As part of Riyadh Season in 2027, our vision is to elevate this iconic event to unprecedented heights and deliver a WrestleMania unlike anything the world has ever seen."
