The Rock is unquestionably one of the most famous and iconic wrestlers of all time thanks to his long association with the WWE, and he once named three others who could also be considered as the GOAT.
The Rock, real name Dwayne Johnson, has had various spells in WWE over the years having started his career during its former era, the WWF.
The 52-year-old has been the WWE Champion on eight occasions as well as claiming the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice and winning the WWF Tag Team Championship on five occasions.

Three times The Rock held that title with Mankind, once with Chris Jericho and on one occasion with The Undertaker.
Away from the wrestling ring, The Rock has forged a highly lucrative and successful acting career in Hollywood.
His films have included The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King, as well as the Jumanji movies, the Fast & Furious franchise and also a voice role of Maui in the Disney animation Moana.

The Rock still competes in the WWE despite his acting commitments and other pursuits, earlier this year making a triumphant return at WrestleMania 40.
With so many wrestlers having graced the sport over the years, it is a hard task to whittle all those big names down into a shortlist of the greatest ever - but The Rock once did try and do just that.
Back in 2019, he took to Instagram to give his verdict on who he felt are the three wrestlers throughout his career he believed could be described as the GOAT.

And he did not name the likes of The Undertaker, Kane or Triple H when it came down to making the difficult choice.
Instead, he went for Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan, thanks to those three having paved the way for his influence and impact in the sport.
At the time he wrote: "The truth is - to me - the GOAT are the three men below who paved the way for me and so many others in pro wrestling.
"I just worked very hard, connected with the audience and caught a break.

"These GOATS were good enough to recognise I had something to offer and graciously passed the torch. Grateful."
