Ric Flair has revealed he was banned from attending WrestleMania 42 after threatening to beat up a WWE superstar.

Flair, 76, is one of the most decorated champions in the history of the business, having competed for WCW, WWE, TNA in a career spanning 50-years.

However, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer was not allowed access to this year's WrestleMania in Las Vegas - claiming he was blacklisted by the company following a tense situation with Ludwig Kaiser.

Kaiser, who now wrestles as 'El Grande Americano', is the former boyfriend of female wrestler Tiffany Stratton - who squared off against Flair's daughter Charlotte at WrestleMania 42.

In the build-up, the pair were involved in a heated rivalry which saw them go off script - with Stratton bringing up Flair's divorces and 'The Queen' claiming Kaiser had been in her DM's.

The unscripted chaos became a focal point in WWE's Unreal series on Netflix and Flair was so furious that he proceeded to call Kaiser and threaten him.

According to 'the Nature Boy', Kaiser, who he incorrectly called a 24-year-old "English kid", spoke to Triple H and that resulted in Flair being blacklisted.

While he was still in Vegas for the many other activities going on, he was not at the Allegiant Stadium on either night and did not watch his daughter's latest match in the flesh.

"I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year," Flair stated in an exclusive interview with Ariel Helwani on Uncrowned.

"I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s husband last year, and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid being threatened by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me?

“That English kid, he’s gonna go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year.

“They had that thing where Tiffany made a smart remark about Ashley’s divorces — which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written. Somebody gave her the script. And then he implied that, I’m just going based on social media, once again, which is a lot, that he was implying that he wouldn’t mind a one-off with Ashley.

“And I went, ‘Okay, I need your number’. I got it, which I can get anybody’s number I want any minute of any day. And I called him. I said, ‘Hey, when I see you, I’m gonna beat the s**t out of you.’

“So he went like a little b**h, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s going to really go far in the business. A 76-year-old tells a 24-year-old kid that he’s going to kick his ass and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk.”

Flair was ghosted by WWE after Hall of Fame request

Kaiser is no longer with Stratton and they have since moved on with different partners. Flair was not finished there and claimed that he ought to have had a "red carpet to the front row" as a nod to his "contributions" to the wrestling business.

He also said there are "too much politics and not enough wrestling" as he revealed a request for him to induct NBA legend Dennis Rodman into the WWE Hall of Fame fell on deaf ears.

Flair added: "Dennis Rodman called me and said, ‘Will you induct me in the Hall of Fame?’ And I sent to the powers that be, ‘Dennis wants me to induct him.’ I never got a call back.

“I think there’s a lack of respect. And I think there’s so many people under fire right now, they’ are all ducking and dodging."
