Logan Paul riled up the Perth crowd with a cheap Taylor Swift comment at WWE's Elimination Chamber press conference.

WWE's next big premium live event takes place in Western Australia on Saturday, emanating from the 61,000 capacity Optus Stadium.

Paul is United States champion and will step into the chamber match for the first time.

The Maverick will come up against Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight and Kevin Owens, with the winner taking on Seth Rollins for the WWE world heavyweight championship at WrestleMania.

Prior to the event, WWE held a press conference to fans ready for Saturday's show and Paul used his appearance to badmouth the Perth people.

He described Perth as a "dump" in "the middle of the ocean" and mentioned Taylor Swift's tour including dates in Sydney rather than Perth.

Paul also said that he would make sure that WWE never came to Perth again

After making his entrance, Paul said: “Oh, y’all going to yell at me huh?” You gonna boo me? I flew 30 hours to get booed?

“OK, if that’s the direction you want to go, we can go there.

“So it’s WWE’s first time coming to Perth and I’m going to personally make sure it’s the last.

“This place sucks guys. I said when they said we were coming to Perth, I said we gotta be going to Sydney instead.

“I mean even Taylor Swift went to Sydney instead of this dump.

“I’m serious, you Google the top 10 things to do as a tourist in Perth and No. 1 is go visit an island full of rats. Not so different from you people, huh? Yikes.

“We legit in the middle of nowhere. In the middle of the ocean. I swear, I’d rather be stranded in the middle of the ocean."

Paul has had just 11 matches in his fledgling career but has made a huge impression.

And he vowed to win the Elimination Chamber and take on former rival Rollins in a champion vs champion bout.

He continued: “Don’t be mad at me, this place sucks guys. Imma give you some fun facts. Gonna bring a bit of fun to your boring Australia lives. In tomorrow’s Elimination Chamber, I am the only champion competing. In tomorrow’s Elimination Chamber, I am the youngest opponent by a decade — no offence old men. It’s a new era and y’all about to be washed out.

“So Perth, make no mistake - I’m only here because I have to be. I will win the Elimination Chamber. I will rematch Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. And I will become double champ.

“So Perth, consider yourselves Logan Paul’s stepping stone.”

Paul then got into it with Owens, with Triple H and Orton having to separate the two as tempers flared.
