WWE legend John Cena has a brilliant response after UFC star Conor McGregor insulted him.
Cena, 48, is a record 17-time WWE world champion and holds the most recognised world title reigns in the promotion's history.
Currently, he is in the middle of his retirement tour, having announced his plans to step away from the sport back in 2024 during a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank.
Being one of the biggest names in the world of sports and entertainment, Cena is often a major talking point.

Previously, UFC star McGregor pulled no punches when speaking about Cena.
Back in 2016, the Irishman said: "John Cena. He’s 40 years of age walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there he’s a big, fat failed Olympian m**********r."

Despite being insulted by McGregor, Cena was full of praise when asked if the Irishman could be a WWE star.

As per E Wrestling, Cena said in 2018: "He would do fantastic.
"Hell, he’d put me out of work. He gets the entertainment aspect of sport, and I think he gets it as good or better than anyone else."
He added: "The way he promoted the fight against [Floyd] Mayweather … that’s what we do, [and] he did it as good or better than us.
"So, I hope one day, if you’re out there watching and you want to come to WWE, he would be a fantastic WWE Superstar."

Speaking recently, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair stated that Cena has earned the right to have an ideal send-off.
He said: "John deserves the best exit in the world. I mean, he's been fabulous for so many people. He's got the most championships, so he's up there with the greatest of all time.
"He’s been such a fabulous representative for the company. He’s never been any trouble; he’s never had any issues. Cena's just a phenomenal person. I can't say enough good things about him."
