John Cena awkwardly shut down a fan who approached him while singing in a viral cringey moment.
Despite the fact that he is now retired from competing in the WWE, Cena is still arguably the biggest name in wrestling.
Outside of his wrestling career, the 48-year-old has appeared in several big movies and television series, making him well-known even among people who have never watched wrestling.
Because of this Cena is regularly recognised in public, with of him spending time with fans at events appearing online almost every day.

But not all fan interactions go well, and that's been made abundantly clear in a recent viral clip in which Cena has to awkwardly sit through a fan approaching him while singing.
Although Cena enjoys spending time with fans at events, it is well known that he likes to enjoy his private life and maintain his personal space while out in public.
Therefore, when TikToker Harry Daniels randomly approached Cena in a cafe before breaking out into song, things go about as awkwardly as you'd expect.
Shortly after the singing started, the WWE legend stood up and said: '“How are you doing? Nice to meet you, I am John. Would you like to sing now? What purpose?”
Daniels then tried to explain that this is a gimmick he often does, before Cena cut him off, adding: "Okay, I’m not buying what you’re selling.”
Captioning the post, Daniels wrote: "Ok this ones on me cuz i had no decorum my bad sorry john cena.”
Although Daniels will no doubt be happy to have gotten a viral moment out of the interaction, it's not gone down well with fans, who have called the TikToker's behaviour cringey and embarrassing while praising Cena's reaction.
Commenting on the post, one user wrote: "This was the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen. Holy s***."
While another joked: "The second hand embarrassment is hitting harder than a steel chair to the head."
With one adding: "I feel so bad for Cena, has to deal with ppl like this all the time."
And another writing: "John is always polite even when people are extremely rude towards him."
