Fans tuning in to watch WWE Elimination Chamber on Netflix this weekend have been given a stern warning.

On Saturday night, the WWE Elimination Chamber will take place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, with a star-studded line-up.

This is set to be the final stop on the road to WrestleMania 41, which is set to be held in Las Vegas in April.

John Cena, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair and Roxanne Perez are among those who are set to feature in this year's Elimination Chamber.

The stakes are very high, as winners get the opportunity to be involved in a Championship match during WrestleMania 41.

Elimination Chamber will be the second WWE Premium Live Event to be streamed on Netflix after February's Royal Rumble.

However, fans looking to watch the action unfold on the streaming platform have been sent a warning.

WWE fans sent £1000 warning ahead of Elimination Chamber

Fans in the UK must refrain from breaking a key law, or else they could face a fine of up to £1,000 plus court costs. TV Licences are a necessity to watch any type of live content as it is broadcast, and as per the TV Licensing website, it is applicable to anything that is 'live on streaming services'.

Anyone tuning in for the Elimination Chamber will need to have paid for a TV licence.

Daniel McAfee, Head of Legal Operations at Lawhive, said: "Under UK law, any live television broadcast requires a valid TV licence, regardless of the streaming platform.

“We have a duty to enforce the law when there is evidence that someone has avoided paying for a TV Licence."
