WWE legend Booker T found out about the tragic death of Bray Wyatt live during his podcast stream.

The wrestler - real name Windham Rotunda - sadly passed away at the age of 36 as WWE content officer Triple H confirmed the devastating news on social media.

"Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda - also known as Bray Wyatt - unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time," he wrote on X (Twitter).

The news of Bray Wyatt's passing shocked Booker T, who received the news during his The Hall of Fame podcast stream.

Brad Gilmore delivered the news which stunned the 58-year-old, who couldn't believe it as he cut a sorrowful figure.

Both Booker T and Gilmore were left speechless before resuming the podcast.

Fellow WWE icon Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson also reacted to Wyatt's death as he posted a heartfelt message on X.

"I'm heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family. Loved his presence, promos, in ring work and connection with @wwe universe," he wrote on social media.

"Very unique, cool and rare character, which is hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today.

"My love, light, strength & mana to the Rotunda family and Funk family during this tough, heartbreaking time.

"As always, 'thank you for the house'."
