On the heels of a mammoth performance at Crown Jewel, WWE superstar Omos returned home to Nigeria for the first time in 14 years.

The giant wrestler put in an impressive performance at the WWE event in Saudi Arabia but this moment is what will endear him to the wrestling fans.

The Nigerian wrestler decided to return to his home nation for the first time in over a decade to surprise his family with incredibly wholesome scenes.

With a film crew by his side, Omos attempted to sneak into the family home - which is a tough thing to pull off when you’re over seven feet tall and weigh over 400 pounds.

As he manages to squeeze through the door frame the room is a mixture of screams and tears as Omos’ family sees him for the first time in a long time.

Plenty of hugs and kisses for the big man.

Who’s cutting those onions?

One of his family members claims she can’t watch him wrestling out of fear of him getting hurt, although, we’re unsure how anyone could hurt a man of his size.

Later on, in the video, he reunites with another family member who immediately buries himself into the wrestler’s chest in tears.

Nothing more wholesome than that.

And the moment certainly seemed to have made Omos a lot of new fans.

One wrote: “Omos seems like a great guy that’s genuinely trying to improve as a wrestler. I’ve got nothing but respect for this man.”

Another said: “I’ve actually started to love Omos these last few weeks not only in WWE but in interviews as well he seems like such a nice guy.”

While a third officially announced themselves as part of the Omos fan club, saying: “I’m officially an Omosapien now.”

Brilliant.

The 28-year-old seriously impressed in his outing against fellow big man Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel.

It was the battle of the giants, although Omos still managed to tower over Braun on this occasion.

Omos was ultimately unsuccessful in his bout against Braun, but it seems between his performance and this wholesome moment he’s made a lot of new fans.
