Manchester United and West Ham United are facing off at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Manchester United and West Ham United have had some fiery clashes in the past, and this one is likely to be no different.

Erik ten Hag will be looking to climb up to fifth position after Chelsea lost to Brighton on Saturday afternoon, with David Moyes looking to climb from 13th place to the Premier League top half.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Ten Hag had a lot of praise for young winger Alejandro Garnacho.

"To deal with the ball in tight areas, to run behind, and especially also his tempo dribbles, he can take players on and that’s a good capability in football nowadays," he said of the 18-year-old.

"Especially against opponents who are defending that compact like this opponent.

"I’m happy with that. I hope for him it’s a stimulus, this first game, and that he knows ‘yeah, I have to do better to get into the team’, to create more but don’t forget the other things.

"You are playing in a team."

He also reiterated his stance of wanting hard work from the players at all times.

"It’s not only about a trick or about scoring one goal. No, we have to win football games and that demands a lot and then you have to fulfil every day the highest standards."
