It's been nearly three weeks since UFC 229 but we can't get away from talking about what happened during and after the fight. Now there's more footage of Conor McGregor cheating against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Dana White said UFC 229 was the biggest event in the promotion's history, that the main event between Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov was the most important fight in the history, and boy was he right.
No matter what actually happened in the ring before the McGregor and Khabib fight back on October 7th the event will be remembered just for that fight, and specifically what happened after, for quite some time.
The finish to the fight and the aftermath has led to all sorts of spin off narratives like the chances of Khabib fighting Floyd Mayweather, 50 Cent paying for the Russian to quit UFC and McGregor selling his whiskey, maybe slightly less dramatic.

There has been questions about what next for the Irishman though, some questioned his coach and if he McGregor needed a new one but the big issue for his in octagon performance has been about cheating.
A new video documents all of the instances of cheating McGregor did in the fight:
Does it technically class as cheating if you get away with it? Because McGregor didn't even pick up an official warning for everything he did wrong on the night and was generally able to get away with it.

Referee Herb Dean does shout 'don't grab the shorts' at one point but the illegal strikes go relatively unnoticed as the Notorious tries to get away with as much as possible against the Eagle.
It was of course to absolutely no avail as McGregor ended up tapping out during the fourth round to give Khabib his 27th victory in a row.
All that cheating can hardly have pleased Nurmagomedov and may well have added to his aggression at the end of the fight.

Of course it was no excuse for jumping over the octagon aendangeringing members of the crowd.
Nearly three weeks later and there's still no end in sight to all of this.
