Conor McGregor has reignited his rivalry with Nate Diaz, and started one with Jorge Masvidal, by suggesting he is the true Baddest Mother F**ker of UFC.

After winning his comeback fight at UFC 241, Nate Diaz called out Jorge Masvidal and suggested the pair were the only 'bad mother f**kers' left competing in the promotion.

Soon it was revealed the pair would face at UFC 244 for the unofficial 'BMF' title. However McGregor took to Twitter on Wednesday night to suggest that he was the real BMF and the two Americans were only fighting for the interim title.

Before beating Anthony Pettis in August, the last time Diaz had been in the octagon was in his second fight with McGregor, with the Irishman winning the rematch after Diaz had originally handed him his first loss in UFC.

There has been plenty of calls in the past for the two men to have a third fight but 'the Notorious' hasn't fought since last October.

Dana White claimed that the BMF won't be defended after the fight between Masvidal and Diaz, saying recently, "It's a one-and-done. Whoever wins, wins the belt and claims the title. 'BMF.'"

Masvidal had already started his own war of words with McGregor. Speaking at the UFC 244 press conference the 34-year-old was asked about the former two weight UFC champion and said, "The man right here said I'm too much man for that dude, so don't bring that dude up in my interviews anymore.

"He already said it himself, so that fight is not available."

McGregor hasn't fought since his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov last year, with the Irishman being banned until April because of that fights aftermath, and was most recently in the headlines when he was alleged to have hit a man in a pub in Dublin.

His return to the octagon is as yet unknown but calling out the two contenders for the BMF title comes alongside potential fights with Khabib, Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier and Frankie Edgar.

Who will McGregor fight when he finally makes his comeback?
