UFC favourite Paddy Pimblett is as intimidating a training partner as anybody could want and one foolhardy influencer found that out to his cost.
Pimblett is always up for a challenge, keeping himself sharp with a combination of traditional gym work and beating the snot out of any over-confident social media personality willing to knock on his door.
'The Baddy' is yet to lose by knockout in the octagon but was beaten by Justin Gaethje by unanimous decision in his last outing at UFC 324 in January.
It was the Liverpudlian's first loss since September 2018 and the fight in Las Vegas was his first loss on a UFC card. Pimblett has indicated that a return could be in the works during International Fight Week back in Nevada on July 11.

In the meantime, he's working hard at the Next Generation gym in Liverpool and dispatching emboldened visitors for fun.
Screen-filling TikTok face Dean Alex was very authentically challenged by a follower to fight Pimblett, which he duly did to his cost.
The influencer opted for attack as the best form of defence and got a few good digs in before the Baddy chased him off the mat, through a small audience and to the nearest window, through which he evacuated the fruits of his ordeal.
Alex was allowed his moments in the brief sparring exercise but was soon mauled like a Premier League striker at a corner. The deposit he left on the streets of Liverpool was evidence of the struggle.
Will the Baddy get back on track?
Pimblett made his UFC debut in Las Vegas in September 2021, defeating Luigi Vendramini by knockout to begin a winning run that lasted until this year and comprised seven fights.
His most recent victory was by knockout over American fighter Michael Chandler at UFC 314 in Miami in April 2025.
After his bout with Gaethje went the distance it was awarded to the 37-year-old by unanimous decision to leave Pimblett fired-up for a second fight of 2026.
He offered a hint about his next opponent last month when he posted on Instagram about his training with Ko Seok Hyeon and Dong Hyun Kim at Next Generation.
"Great to have @stungunkim and @ko.seokhyeon in the gym today, some perfect rounds for me with some southpaws 👀" posted Pimblett, prompting fans to predict a return against a left-hander, with France's Benoit Saint-Denis the most common name on their lips.
