UFC have released the full card for the UFC 249 event on April 18.

Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will not be in action as he cannot exit his home country of Russia, but the MMA promotion have instead booked his scheduled opponent Tony Ferguson to go up against Justin Gaethje for the interim belt.

There is no location or venue set at this point but the full card for the event has been revealed.

Jessica Andrade and Rose Namajunas's second bout in the strawweight division, this time a co-main event, will still be happening as planned, with Calvin Kattar taking on Jeremy Stephens in a featherweight fight, as well as NFL player Greg Hardy doing battle with Yorgan De Castro in a heavyweight encounter.

Vicente Luque vs Niko Price is happening in the welterweight division, while Francis Ngannou is in action on the prelims against Jairzinho Rozenstruik, who he was supposed to face in Columbus, Ohio as part of the UFC on ESPN 8 event.

You've got to hand it for UFC for putting together a tasty-looking card in the circumstances and it seems as though Dana White is still eager to give fight fans their fix.

In fact, the UFC president has revealed he is close to securing a private island where they will host fights during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I am a day or two away from securing a private island," White told TMZ.

"I have a private island that I've secured; we're getting the infrastructure put in now, so I'm gonna start doing the international fights, too.

"With international fighters, because I won't be able to get international fighters into the U.S., I have a private island that I'm gonna start flying them all in and doing international fights from there.

"So as of April 18th, the UFC is back up and running."

In an unprecedented but wholly exciting move, White plans to have fights taking place every week on the island and says UFC have their own planes to fly talent in and out.
