UFC Star Darren Till Explains The 'Paige VanZant Tattoo' On His Arm

UFC Star Darren Till Explains The 'Paige VanZant Tattoo' On His Arm

Darren Till's striking tattoo has been the subject of fierce debate among UFC fans since the Liverpool fighter made his Octagon debut in 2015.

The UFC middleweight contender has a big tattoo of a mysterious blonde woman which covers his entire upper left arm.

His tattoo got the online MMA community talking with everyone thinking he had Paige VanZant inked on his arm.

But Till quickly squashed those rumours when he revealed the true inspiration of the tattoo - which happens to be his ex-girlfriend.

"No, it's not. It's my girl," Till said when asked if his tattoo was of VanZant after his stunning UFC bow back in May 2015.

"It was a surprise for her birthday. I don't know what I was thinking? I was like, 'Yeah, I'm going to do something different. I'm going to get a tattoo of her face.'

"This is my tattoo. It's not Paige VanZant. I don't even know who that is," he added.

"As I've told you about my girl, she's next to none other. So, every time I fight, she fights too. And she gets beat up with me, do you know what I mean?

"So, if she's p***ing me off, I just go to the gym and let some guys punch me."

Till, meanwhile, hasn't fought since his successful UFC middleweight debut at UFC 244 when he outpointed Kelvin Gastelum in New York last November.

He's reportedly scheduled to fight former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker on 'Fight Island' in July.

VanZant, on the other hand, will return to action at UFC 251 when she faces Amanda Ribas.
