Bellator Fighter Hit With The 'Worst Kick To The Nuts' You'll Ever See

Bellator Fighter Hit With The 'Worst Kick To The Nuts' You'll Ever See

MMA fighter Peter Stanonik suffered the 'worst kick to the nuts' in the sport's history during last night's Bellator 245.

The welterweight contest between Raymond Daniels and Stanonik had to be stopped in the second round due to two horrific groin strikes.

Stanonik was on the wrong end of two of the worst unintentional fouls you'll ever see.

Decorated kickboxer Daniels landed a devastating spinning back kick that struck the groin of Stanonik who took five minutes to recover from the illegal blow.

Daniels then hit Stanonik in the groin again which left him rolling around in agony, crying in pain as referee Jason Herzog called an end to the fight.

Speaking after the bout was ruled a no-contest, Daniels said: "I hope my opponent Peter is okay, obviously I never mean to hit anybody as far as low blows.

"Whenever I knock someone out or down, I hope they are okay so I definitely hope he is okay."

He added: "Definitely not how I wanted the fight to go. I had an entirely different ending in my end. It's the first time that's ever really happened.

"First time I thought it was a body shot, but my foot is pretty big and covers a lot of ground.

"The second time I definitely hit him clean. He kicked me, knocked me off balance and made me miss a little bit. 2020 has been that kind of year, crazy year. I don't normally miss my spin kicks like that.

"The second one hit very hard and the spin kick is the hardest technique you can throw in all combat sports.

"My spin kick is kind of like my bazooka, grenade launcher, whatever you want to call it.

"It can end things in an instant way wherever it lands. Unfortunately it landed in the groin vicinity. I hope he's okay, I never want to hurt my opponent where they have to be carried off."

Stanonik took to social media to issue an update on his condition.
