UFC boss Dana White has named the fighter that he was glad to see knocked out.

American businessman White rose to fame after he was named the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

However, before his role within the UFC, he was working as a manager for Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell.

Whilst working with Ortiz and Liddell, White met Bob Meyrowitz, who was the owner of the then parent company of UFC, the Semaphore Entertainment Group.

White was eventually installed as UFC’s president in January 2001.

Speaking in an interview, White has revealed that Ortiz used to annoy me that much, he was glad to see him knocked out.

He said: “Nobody has p****d me off more than Tito Ortiz, I was gonna f**k him up and make him look stupid.

“When Chuck Liddell knocked Tito Ortiz out, that was my favourite that has ever happened in UFC history.”

White continued: “I told Chuck ‘I want your gloves and your trunks that you beat the snot out of him in.

“I put them in a glass case and hung them up in my house.”

Ortiz himself previously admitted he wants to bury the hatchet with White.

As per MMA News, Ortiz told Chris Van Vilet: “I don’t want to say no.

“I think I’ll give that to Dana to say no. I think I made a mistake a while back saying I’ll never fight in the UFC, and it came back to bite me in the a**.”

He continued: “It is what it is. I think he told me that. I wish we could get over the hard feelings. That’s life. Life is too short to hate.”
