Conor McGregor Tries To Expose Khabib's "Garbage" UFC Achievements In Twitter Rant

Conor McGregor has attempted to discredit Khabib Nurmagomedov's UFC achievements in his latest Twitter rant.

He announced his shock retirement following his 29th professional MMA victory with fans and critics alike, including Joe Rogan, hailing him as the GOAT.

But McGregor isn't convinced as he slammed Nurmagomedov's "garbage" and "overstretched" accomplishments.

In response to a tweet highlighting the pound-for-pound king's stats, the Irishman said: "Rushed work Michael.

"Andre's Belorussian, and the reason the Belarus flag is on the newly designed belt. Along with 7 other countries of the first Champion winners. Oleg Taktarov is the other Russian winner you seek. Although in tournament format it was without an official belt."

In another tweet, he wrote: "The first official UFC belt was presented at, yes you guessed it, UFC Twelve. Mark Coleman the winner, ensuring America's flag on today's new belt design. Alongside Netherlands,Bas. Canada,Carlos. Belarus,Andre. Brazil,Bustamante. Poland,Joanna. England,Michael. Ireland,Conor."

He added: "Also... the rest of those stats are garbage. Multiple tied seconds, most takedowns in a division bar someone else, etc etc. It's a garbage list full of overstretched accomplishments."

McGregor reacted to Nurmagomedov's "good" performance at UFC 254 and offered his condolences following the Russian's retirement.

"Good performance. I will carry on. Respect and condolences on your father again also. To you and family. Yours sincerely, The McGregors," he wrote on Twitter.

But it appears 'The Notorious' isn't happy with suggestions that Nurmagomedov will go down as the MMA GOAT.

Who is the MMA GOAT? Let us know.
