A video of Ciryl Gane and Francis Ngannou sparring has left some fans shocked ahead of the interim-title fight at UFC 265.

Gane takes on Derrick Lewis for the UFC interim heavyweight title in the main-event of UFC 265.

A victory over 'The Black Beast' will set up a monstrous undisputed clash against UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou.

If they do meet inside the famed Octagon, then it won't be the first time they've traded blows following their sparring sessions.

In fact, footage of the pair of UFC heavyweight stars paints an interesting picture ahead of a potential showdown.

A clip of Gane and Ngannou sparring shows the top contender appearing to get the better of 'The Predator' during training.

Needless to say, the sparring video of Gane and Ngannou sent social media wild.

One tweeted: "Gane was kinda piecing Ngannou up there."

A second wrote: "Gane will beat Lewis and then Francis."

A third added: "Gane is gonna smoke Lewis via finish, and then toy around with Ngannou. Gane moves like a lightweight. We haven't seen a HW like him."

A fourth commented: "Francis doesn't look scary exchanging with Gane. The size and the movement. Gane seems to be picking him apart but any its practice, I guess."
