Drake Names His Favourite Fighter And It's Not Conor McGregor

The Canadian rapper spoke about one of his favourite fighters.

Drake has named Conor McGregor's arch rival Nate Diaz as one of his favourite fighters.

The Toronto rapper has been one of McGregor's main celebrity supporters. He showed support to the Irishman before his first fight with Diaz and joined his entourage for his showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

But Drake has revealed that Diaz is one of his favourite fighters.

"Some of my favourite fighters in the world, take a guy like Nate Diaz, you look at his record, if might not look like the craziest record but he's still one of my favourite fighters, he's still a dog. That's just the sport of fighting," he explained.

Back in 2016, though, after Diaz inflicted McGregor with his first UFC defeat, he aimed a dig at the likes of Drake and Justin Bieber.

"Bieber don't watch the sport; he don't know the sport. I've seen a couple other people too, Drake, all these other guys that are stating their opinion," Diaz explained.

"How are you going to state your opinion when you don't know shit? You're just showing your lack of knowledge on the sport.

"They picked McGregor. The mainstream got him because they know his name more, but if you look at my record and at look at who I am and watch my fights, you know [I was going to win]. Unless you're caught up in the hype. Those guys all were.

"Everyone's got their opinions," he added. "But I wouldn't say something about a basketball player or something like that 'cause I don't know the sport."

Diaz, meanwhile, last fought at UFC 244 in November where he lost to Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title.
