Former One Direction star Niall Horan impersonated Conor McGregor and it's absolutely spot on.

Horan guest hosted ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, where he did his best McGregor impression.

The 27-year-old hilariously mentioned the UFC superstar in his opening monologue.

He poked fun at Notre Dame Fighting Irish's mascot, claiming it looks more like Abraham Lincoln before highlighting a real fighting Irishman in the 'Notorious'.

The ex-1D man then performed his fellow countryman's trademark 'Billi Strut' while doing his best McGregor impression.

Horan nailed it. Check it out below.

McGregor himself appreciated Horan's impression, retweeting the clip on Twitter.

The 33-year-old is currently out of action having undergone surgery on his broken leg that he suffered in his defeat to Dustin Poirier last month.

But he's on the mend ahead of his UFC comeback.

The former UFC double champion, though, has kept himself in the spot-light with his posts on social media.

However, Poirier isn't bothered by his rival's attacks online and says he's living 'rent free' in his head.

"It doesn't really bother me - I don't really care," he said. "When I think about in hindsight, like today I was thinking about it like, 'The guy's probably losing his mind.'

"He can't really train. He's got a hurt leg that he's trying to rehab. Rent free. I'm just living rent free (in his head)."
