A super-fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Georges St-Pierre is reportedly in the works.
Nurmagomedov is fresh off beating Conor McGregor at UFC 229, defending his UFC lightweight title in the process and it appears his next challenger has been lined up.
The Canadian superstar has been out of Octagon action since November 2017, where he became the UFC middleweight champion by dethroning Michael Bisping.
But he could be making his anticipated return to the cage in 2019.
According to Russian outlet MMA TEAM DAGESTAN, Nurmagomedov vs. St-Pierre is being discussed.
:zap: KHABIB vs. GSP in the works. This is all that is known at the moment.

Thank god it's not Floyd Mayweather.
Nurmagomedov called out the retired boxer after submitting McGregor, and the pair have been going back-and-forth though another cross-over bout appears to be nixed.
Before Nurmagomedov recorded his 27th professional MMA victory, he talked up a bout versus St-Pierre.
"Georges is greatest competitor in the UFC of all time," Nurmagomedov said.
"Even if we fight, I think it's going to be a very tough match-up for me, and for him too. I never lose round in the UFC. I think I can give him very tough match. I know you guys love him, but when cage door close I have to smash my opponents.
"In my mind I think nobody can beat me," he added.
St-Pierre, whose bagged UFC titles at welterweight and middleweight, is excited about a potential bout with the undefeated Dagestan phenom.
"The thing that excites me the most is when I could be the first to do something. When something cannot be done and people doubt me," he said of going up against Nurmagomedov's formidable record.
"He's a great champion, and in terms of legacy, I can't think of a better fighter right now who has a better legacy than Khabib."
Nurmagomedov vs. St-Pierre? Make it happen, Dana.
