A 39-year-old MMA veteran made history at UFC 328, but it's not something he will wanted to remember.
On Sunday morning, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland reclaimed his title as he picked up a shock split decision victory over Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC 328 in Newark, New Jersey.
In the co-main event, a brutal war between flyweight champion Joshua Van and Japan's Tatsuro Taira saw ended with the champ retaining his title after picking up a knockout in the final round.
Elsewhere on the card Manchester-based middleweight superstar Ateba Gautier secured a second round knockout over Ozzy Diaz, while heavyweight veteran Alexander Volkov put an end to Waldo Cortes-Acosta's impressive three fight win streak.

However, at the very start of the main card, UFC veterans King Green and Jeremy Stephens made UFC history, after Green made it three wins in a row with round one submission victory.
In doing so, Stephens claimed the record as the fighter with the most losses under the UFC banner, overtaking Clay Guida, becoming the first to reach 20 losses in the premier MMA organisation.
The result takes his overall record to 29-23-1 with his recent form being 1-9-1 in his last 11 bouts.
The last time that "Lil' Heathen" won a fight came under the PFL banner when he picked up a split decision over Myles Price back in June 2022.
Since then Stephens lost to Natan Schulte in November 2022, leading to him taking a break from competing before returning for his third stint in the UFC in May last year.
Welsh fighter Mason Jones welcomed Stephens back to the UFC with unanimous decision win.
A year later Stephens came back to open the UFC 328 main card with the veterans bout with fellow 39-year-old Green, with the fight taking place despite Stephens missing weight by four pounds.
With the win, Green has won three in a row for the first time since 2020 after picking up a split decision over Lance Gibson Jr and a TKO of Daniel Zellhuber, following back-to-back losses to Paddy Pimblett and Mauricio Ruffy.
