UFC fighters are used to getting call out by potential future opponents. That's usually straight after someone has won a fight but it can be on social media. It's just not usually by a 'fan' on Facebook.
The usual cycle is UFC fighter wins fight, shouts out potential future opponents name and some sort of trash talk in the post fight interview, fight gets made, fight happens and we begin again.
Of course the same also happens in boxing although with the thousands of different promoters it is less likely to go quite as smoothly in the 'sweet science.'
In the modern age fighters can also be called out on social media with a quick tweet calling them a 'bitch' or something just as wonderfully clever and derogatory.

Most of the time it's just contrived nonsense to try and build some interest in the fight so if professionals really want to get us interested they could do a lot worse than copy David Lyons post on Facebook from about six months ago calling out Conor McGregor.
Lysons posed in a number of hilarious poses proving his incredible strength against a number of objects:
McGregor hasn't been in the octagon since November 2016 and the only time he's been in any official fight since then was his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather.

We still don't know when the Irishman will be making his UFC return and it probably could have happened by now, or at least been announced, if it wasn't for his run in with Khabib Nurmagomedov and a bus.
McGregor will be in court in July to find out what his punishment is for that incident and only then will we have any idea when he'll next be fighting.
We hope Nate Diaz tries something like this in the future though, will make the fight far more interesting.
