Ultimate Fighting Championship legend Conor McGregor is set to return to action at UFC 329 in July and another big hint has been dropped by an unexpected source.
MMA fans have been presented with the official trailer for EA Sports' UFC 6 video game, which features an extended sequence between animated versions of McGregor and American fighter Max Holloway – the very match-up reported to be in the works for McGregor's comeback in Paradise, Nevada.
Respected UFC journalist Ariel Helwani reported in April that McGregor vs. Holloway has been slated as the headline fight of UFC 329 at the T-Mobile Arena.
The Irish fighter, 37, is a legendary figure in the world of UFC. He will face Holloway despite the American's defeat by Charles Oliveira in March.

Holloway's previous bout was a unanimous decision win over Dustin Poirier, who stopped McGregor twice in his last two visits to the octagon five years ago.
UFC 6 is the latest installment of EA Sports' Ultimate Fighting Championship franchise and is set for release on PlayStation and Xbox in June.
"Former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former UFC featherweight and BMF champion Max Holloway headline the Standard and Ultimate Edition covers, ushering in a new era of fighter individuality appearing in gameplay, allowing players to fight their fight like never before," according to EA.
"This year’s cover athletes showcase a modern standard for elite UFC superstardom. Alex Pereira brings his signature blend of precision and raw power to the Standard Edition cover, while Max Holloway’s relentless pace and unmatched volume come alive on the Ultimate Edition. Their presence on the covers reflects a new era for the franchise where every athlete’s unique movement and mindset are felt in every exchange."
Plans for McGregor vs Holloway get real
Hawaii-born Holloway says he's 'always approached MMA like a gamer' but he'll be fully focused in the real world on the return of a formidable opponent.
The two Poirier fights in 2021 were McGregor's first losses by knockout and his record of 22 wins and six losses overall still bears scrutiny.
McGregor is a former featherweight, lightweight and interim featherweight champion in UFC and has been credited with widening the appeal of the sport.
His previous meeting with Holloway was way back in 2013, when he beat the younger fighter by unanimous decision in Boston.
