We find the best tips in this all British last 16 knockout clash

Two of the tournament's biggest surprises meet in the knockout stages this weekend and we've put together our thoughts on the best bets available for this all British clash.

Northern Ireland were 500/1 underdogs coming in to this tournament but have so far defied any expectation of them being Euro 2016 whipping boys.

They played well in their opener against Poland despite falling to a 1-0 defeat. In hindsight, they were perhaps a little too reserved and should have gone forward more rather than sit back and try to soak up the Polish pressure.

They certainly didn't make the same mistake in their second game against Ukraine, where they looked exceptional in their 2-0 victory. In their final group game, Michael O'Neil's side put up a valiant effort against World Champions Germany but ultimately fell to another 1-0 defeat.

They did enough to secure a place in the knockout stages as one the best third placed teams and they'll be well up for their game against Wales.

Wales, like Northern Ireland, surprised a lot of people in the group stages and came out of Group B as winners, besting fierce rivals England, who finished in second.

Chris Coleman's side opened their campaign by upsetting Slovakia 2-1 before losing to England by the same scoreline in a hard-fought game where only a late Daniel Sturridge goal separated the two sides. The Red Dragons finished the group stage off in style by thrashing Russia 3-0.

Gareth Bale has been in immense form for Wales and has netted in all three of his side's games so far. The Real Madrid star is 5/4 to score anytime against Northern Ireland which is an excellent price.

Northern Ireland have been exceptional in Euro 2016 but we think this could be the end of the road for them, especially if Bale and Aaron Ramsey continue to play as well as they have done and the Wales win is a real gem at 21/20.
