We preview the semi-final showdown between Wales and Portugal

Wales face the biggest game in their footballing history in Lyon tonight where they take on Portugal in the first of Euro 2016's semi-finals.

Chris Coleman's side have defied all expectations to reach this stage of the tournament and after their exceptional 3-1 win over Belgium in the quarter-final, Wales will go in to this occasion fully confident they can topple their Portuguese opponents.

Fernando Santos' Portugal can consider themselves lucky to have made it this far considering they've yet to win a game in 90 minutes in Euro 2016. Portugal drew all three of their group games, beat Croatia 1-0 after extra-time in their first knockout game and were forced to go to penalties against Poland.

The game has been billed as a battle between two of the best players on the planet and we really like the look of the 4/1 on offer for Real Madrid teammates Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo to score any time tonight.

Wales have scored in all five of their games in the tournament so far whilst Portugal have scored in three out of five so there's definite value in backing both teams to score in this one at 5/4.

Despite the fact that Wales have been excellent so far and Portugal are seemingly still stuck in first gear this late in to the tournament, we're expecting a tight game and don't think it'll be decided in normal time. We're going to stick our necks out and say that the Wales fairytale tournament will live on and we're backing Wales to qualify at 6/4.
