Host nation France take on surprise package Iceland in this quarter-final showdown in Paris and we've had a look at what we think are the best value bets available.

To say that Iceland are enjoying their first ever European Championship would be an understatement. Lars Lagerbäck's side have massively defied expectations this summer and dumping England out of the tournament in the last round is undoubtedly the biggest moment in the country's footballing history.

France haven't set the tournament alight yet despite being favourites to eventually lift the trophy. Les Bleus have a habit of starting slow and finishing strongly, their last game against Republic of Ireland a case in point. Ireland went ahead almost immediately and put Didier Deschamps on the back foot before France rallied in the second half to score twice and seal a 2-1 win.

Despite not quite getting out of first gear yet we expect France to put an end to Iceland's fairytale campaign and move in to the semi finals for the first time since Euro 2000.

We don't expect the Nordic side to just rollover and they proved against the Three Lions that they can defend under pressure. Given France's penchant to start slowly, we really like the look of half time draw/full time France at 16/5.

The French squad has bags of talent, especially up front, and Antoine Griezmann has been their standout player so far. He's bagged three so far and we're backing him to score again in this one at 6/4.
