Group A of Euro 2016 doesn't look like it will cause the host nation, France, too much trouble and should provide something of a straight forward route in to the knock out stages for Didier Deschamps' side.

Neither Romania or Switzerland have looked great in the run up to the tournament and Albania, who make their first appearance at a major tournament, are unlikely to cause much of a threat.

FRANCE

Les Bleus possess one of the most exciting group of players in Euro 2016 and look exceptionally strong in both midfield and attack.

Even without Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, who was left out of the squad completely, the likes of Olivier Giroud, Anthony Griezmann and Anthony Martial show that the French don't lack the fire power up top.

The French midfield is easily one of the best competing this summer with the likes of Paul Pogba, Blaise Matiudi, N'Golo Kante and unsung hero Dimitri Payet in the squad.

There are some concerns though and a number of injuries have left their defence considerably weakened with Raphael Varane, Aymeric Laport and Kurt Zouma all missing.

Despite their injury woes, France remain heavy favourites at 4/11 to win the group.

SWITZERLAND

Switzerland represent perhaps France's biggest challenge in Group A although their run up to the tournament hasn't been ideal with them losing three of their four friendlies.

Despite their poor form, this is somewhat of a golden generation for the Swiss team and the likes of Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaquiri and Stephan Lichtsteiner are undoubtedly incredible talents and they will certainly be a team to watch.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that France could falter under the weight of expectation this summer and Switzerland could be worth considering at 4/1 to win the group but the safer option would be to back them to finish second at 5/4.

ROMANIA

Romania made it through their qualification games unbeaten and are a hard team to beat. They could prove a frustrating team to come up against in Group A.

They're recent form is cause for concern going in to the tournament and they have won just twice in their last ten games and have amassed seven draws in that time.

They look a decent bet to miss out on getting out of the groups this time around and they are 13/10 to finish third.

ALBANIA

Albania go in to Euro 2016 as massive 500/1 underdogs and are the lowest ranked side in the competition.

There are talented players in the Albanian squad in the form of Napoli's Elseid Hysaj and Nantes midfielder Ermir Lenjani but it's still hard to see them finish any higher than bottom of the table and are priced at 4/6 to do so.

BEST BET

The exact order of France finishing 1st, Switzerland 2nd, Romania 3rd and Albania bottom looks like a very nice price at 10/3 and is our top tip for Group A.
