After an understandably nervy start from France yesterday, Dimitri Payet dragged them out of a hole with an impeccable finish from outside the box. In doing so, he landed our main bet at 4/6 and our value bet at 6/5; so cheers Dimitri.

Today, the action hots up with three different matches - including England's opening game against Russia.

First of all, Group A's opening round comes to a close when Switzerland and Albania clash in Lens. All eyes will be on new Arsenal signing Granit Xhaka and how he carries the ball in midfield, especially against his older brother Taulant Xhaka who represents Albania internationally.

For that game, I can't help but fancy a Switzerland victory at 19/20. The Rossocrociati were a sub-standard second to England in their qualifying group picking up 21 points from the 30 available. Albania, on the other hand, earned 14 points from a possible 24 and demoted Euro 1992 winners Denmark to the play-offs (where they were knocked out by Sweden).

Wales begin their first International tournament for 58 years in Bordeaux against Slovakia, and they owe a lot to Gareth Bale for that. The Welsh wizard scored seven of their 11 goals in qualifying and will look to add to his international tally after a magnificent season at Real Madrid. Therefore, I can't ignore Gareth Bale to score anytime at 8/5 - those odds seem way too high to me and that will be our value bet for that game.

I also like the look of Wales or Draw Double Chance at 4/9. They only lost once in their entire qualifying campaign with Ashley Williams marshalling the defence so expect them to remain solid in France.
