Nick Kyrgios slammed a journalist for what he posted on social media after Grigor Dimitrov's injury.
Dimitrov, 34, was playing some of the best tennis of his career as he raced to a 6-3, 7-5 lead against world number one Jannik Sinner inside Wimbledon's Centre Court.
However, things turned sour with the third set poised at 2-2. After serving to win the fourth game, Dimitrov was seen holding his pectoral muscle as he sat down on the turf in pain.
After going back to the locker room to receive treatment, the Bulgarian came back on court but only to signal his intention to retire.

Dimitrov, visibly upset, has now been forced to retire from his last five Grand Slams.
Taking to social media earlier on in the match, social media editor and tennis writer Bastien Fachan wrote: "From my 15 years of experience watching Grigor Dimitrov I know deep down inside that this is likely ending in heartbreak, I just don't know how exactly."
On the back of Dimitrov's retirement, Fachan replied to the tweet with a meme that read: "I've won.....But at what cost?"

In response, former Wimbledon finalist Kyrgios wrote: "This isn’t cool at all. Prayers up for Dimitrov. Probably not the time to meme."
Kyrgios, 30, has been battling multiple injury issues of his own ever since he made the final of Wimbledon back in 2022, losing to Novak Djokovic in four sets.
So far in 2025, the Australian has only managed five matches, with his only win coming in the first round of the Miami Open back in March.

Prior to Wimbledon, Kyrgios revealed that he had suffered an injury setback.
He wrote on Instagram: "I've hit a small setback in my recovery and unfortunately I won't make it back for grass season this year.
"I know how much you've been looking forward to seeing me out there and I'm genuinely sorry to disappoint. This is just a bump in the road though and I'm already working hard to get back stronger than ever."
The Wimbledon ballot may have closed for another year, but it’s not too late to buy advance tickets if you know where to look.
