Alexander Zverev appeared to make a shock claim about Carlos Alcaraz during the pair's semi-final clash at the 2026 Australian Open.
On Friday, it was semi-final time in the men's singles draw, with Zverev taking on Alcaraz.
Defending champion Jannik Sinner faces 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic on the other side of the draw.
World number one Alcaraz raced to a 2-0 lead against Zverev after winning the first two sets 6-4, 7-6 (7-5).

In the third set, with the score level at 4-4, there was a moment of controversy after Alcaraz appeared to encounter a fitness problem.
As reported by The Express, the Spaniard was seen 'crouching down and feeling his quad' before holding serve and receiving medical treatment during the changeover.

However, Zverev was far from impressed, unleashing an X-rated rant while speaking to a tournament official.
The German appeared to claim that Alcaraz was suffering from cramp, which, as per the rules, does not warrant a medical timeout.
As Zverev's outburst was caught by the live broadcast, TNT Sports commentator Nick Mullins was forced to issue an apology for any foul language.
Tennis journalist Jose Morgado wrote on social media: "Physio checking on Alcaraz. MTO. Zverev is p***ed off as he thinks it's cramps, so Alcaraz can't get treated.
"It's unbelievable that he can get treated for cramps. This is b******t."
Meanwhile, another journalist, Olly Tennis, wrote: "Zverev is FURIOUS at Alcaraz taking a medical timeout for what he thinks is cramp, says him and Sinner get ‘protected’."
It was claimed that Zverev said: "You are protecting these two guys all the time."

Tennis legend and commentator Jim Courier said on NINE: "This is such a travesty. They have totally botched this. That's why Zverev is melting down right now."
Following the moment of drama, Zverev went on to win the third and fourth set 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-4).
In the women's singles event, Aryna Sabalenka will take on Elena Rybakina in Saturday's final, after beating Elina Svitolina and Jessica Pegula respectively.
