Rugby League Reporter Reveals 'Disgusting' Tattoo On Live TV

There's probably no Queenslander hurting more this morning than poor Katie Brown.

Queensland loss in State of Origin Game 2 will undoubtedly hurt.

But there's probably no one hurting more this morning than poor Katie Brown.

SPORTbible Daily Podcast's very own host has showed the world a "disgusting" tattoo she was forced to get after losing a bet.

The Channel 7 sports reporter made the grand reveal live on television too – and it's a Maroons supporter's worst nightmare.

Appearing on Channel 7's Sunrise, Brown - a Queensland Maroons die-hard - confirmed that she had lost a wager with her colleague and New South Wales supporter Michelle Bishop.

“Fortunately my colleague Katie Brown, she’s fronted up this morning,” Bishop said during a segment on the show.

“She lost a bet and I’m sure she can tell you and show you much more about it. She’s hurting this morning like the rest of Queensland.”

Sunrise co-host Mark Beretta then added: “Katie, why don’t you tell us and show us then?”

The team then crossed over to a rather sheepish-looking Brown, who was standing outside Perth's Optus Stadium the morning after the game.

“I’ve been fake smiling all morning and I’m going to have to continue,” Brown said.

“But sorry mum and dad, this is a morning of firsts. Yeah, it’s disgusting, it is so disgusting. I always told mum and dad I wouldn’t get a tattoo and look, it’s pretty real.

“I’m going to have to go and see a tattoo artist and get that removed this morning, stat, before I fly back tonight.”

Asked how late in the night it was when she got tattooed, Brown replied: “How late? It was pretty early (the following morning). It was a quick job, it only took a couple of minutes actually.

“I was pretty impressed with the stencil work. It wasn’t free hand.”

Judging by the giggle Brown gave into the camera, it's most likely a fake, but it's still pretty damn funny nonetheless.

The Sunrise crew's faces were a picture though as they looked on in a amazement.

“Katie, you won’t be let into Queensland,” Beretta said.

“You know they’re not going to let you back in to Queensland, don’t you? That is great, we love it Katie!”
