With home gyms growing in popularity, if you're considering setting up a home workout space the first thing you'll likely need us some foam exercise mats.

But although they’re a great addition to your setup, they’re not always the nicest to look at.

So it's no surprise these wood-effect exercise mats are selling out fast.

They come in two wood-effect patterns.

Available in sets of four floor (starting at just £6.99 instead of £21.99 in their current sale) all the way through to packs of 40 mats, you can cover the smallest of spaces to much larger at-home gym setups with the mats from Northern Gym Equipment.

And the two wood-effect colour options immediately caught shoppers’ eyes and ours.

If you already have wooden flooring and don’t want what is often quite a utilitarian look of an exercise mat ruining the look of the space or you’ve been looking for a stylish or natural looking alternative for a while now, people love how easily these blend in with existing decor.

The mats are ideal for a range of different exercises and gym activities.

What makes them so special?

As we say, we’ve never seen a foam exercise mat quite like these. But the quality of them is just as impressive as the stylish design is.

Each mat has dimensions of 60cm x 60cm with the high-density and heavy-duty EVA foam material being 10cm in thickness. This means that it will protect your flooring from any knocks, dents or scratches that could be caused by your workout equipment.

They also have a non-slip surface to add an additional layer of safety to your home gym and can be wiped down with a damp cloth or mild cleaning solution to keep them clean no matter how sweaty or dirty they get.

So, whether you’re planning on using heavy weights or dumbbells or are looking for a comfortable base from which to do yoga stretches, to cooling down at the end of a training circuit, adding one to your setup can make a big difference to your comfort while keeping your floors protected.

Even though we love the wood-effect styles, the exercise mats also come in a light grey, bold blue and classic black hue, depending on your personal taste.

And if you’re not convinced already, you can also take an additional 15% off your order with the code 15FORYOU.

There are also some other colours to choose from.

What are customers saying?

One happy shopper took to the brand’s website to share their thoughts on their purchase. They admitted: “I bought these gym tiles for my garden studio. I was not sure how good they would be because of the bargain price? But I'm happy to say they seem to be good quality, are soft underfoot and will also insulate the floor. All in all one very happy bunny.”

While a second added: “Great service and best price on the market. Could not believe the quality when they arrived.”
