There's still UFC 197, 198 and 199 to come but we all know that UFC 200 is going to be some event and the fights for that event are being discussed at large by all fans of the sport. Who will face who?

Despite losing his unbeaten run at UFC 196 Conor McGregor remains a big draw on the UFC roster, perhaps the biggest, and it's no surprise to hear his name linked with top billing at the promotion's biggest event.

According to MMAFighting.com, via several sources, the company is trying to tie up a deal for The Notorious to face his conqueror Nate Diaz in a rematch from UFC 196 as the main event and the deal could be close.

The reports also suggest that both fighters will remain at 170lbs for the fight rather than drop down to a more natural weight for the pair.

Whilst a rematch would excite many it would also be a blow to those hoping McGregor would fight Rafael dos Anjos for his lightweight belt, as was supposed to be the bout at 196, in an attempt to make him a dual weight world champion. The Irishman also could have defended his title in a rematch with Jose Aldo or against Frankie Edgar.

Is a rematch against Diaz the best option for McGregor?

Who will win?
