It's UFC 205 fight week! What better way to celebrate by reliving past knockouts delivered by the combatants on the mega card. We kick-off our MMA KO of the day series looking back at Chris Weidman's stunning victory over reigning middleweight champion Anderson Silva at UFC 162.

The Brazilian was the pound-for-pound king entering the bout with a string of UFC records including an unprecedented sixteen-fight win streak inside the famed Octagon.

Standing opposite to him was the undefeated American. Touted as a legitimate threat with a few even picking the relatively-green fighter. The official promo highlighted several then-current fighters on the roster picking Weidman. It almost seemed manufactured.

Despite that, Weidman shocked the MMA world producing one of the most shocking outcomes in the sports history handing Silva his first ever KO loss in the process.

Silva stretched his cage antics to a new level taunting Weidman through out the bout. Dropping his hands while slapping his thighs with the second round starting how the first ended; Silva asking for Weidman's attack. Silva continued his theatrics before a sharp left-hook connected on the legends chin dropping him to the canvas followed up by a barrage of brutal ground 'n' pound putting an end to the longest UFC champions reign.
